Methodology

How we judge.

Not the apparatus — the discipline. Here's what the rigor looks like, shown in the same components you'd see in a real verdict. The reason you can act on the call without re-checking it yourself.

A verdictFIX

All four boxes are ticked — and it still loses the buyer.

The worst risk governs

We never average it into a middle.

Strong on most axes, fatal on one — that's not a 7. One irreversible mistake isn't outweighed by everything going right. The lowest dimension sets the call.

Claims meet evidence

Sorted, not scored on faith.

Every claim is held to evidence. "Unverifiable" is said freely and honestly; "contradicted" never ships without re-verifying the source first. The verdict rests on what survives, not what sounds good.

Dissent is preserved

The seats no other read keeps.

Every reader reacts before it scores — and two seats stay at the table on purpose. The Wrong Yes, whose enthusiasm is the alarm, and the Anti-Buyer, whose rejection is the truth. Neither is ever averaged away.

And the standards underneath

Composed for you, not configured

The team is built from your market — judged against your business, not a generic notion of "good."

The question comes first

The brief defines what the work is for, and you approve it, before any judgment runs.

A score follows a reaction

Every reader reacts in its own voice first, then scores. No digit is assigned off a vibe.

Nothing ships without a receipt

Each finding is pinned to the line and the judge who caught it. No superlative without proof — including ours.

The principle underneath

We judge. We never produce.

Every standard above rests on this one. Arbitia never writes, fixes, or ships your work — so it has nothing of its own to defend and no reason to flatter. A judge that also produced the work would only be grading its own paper.

In the open about what's closed

The depth is the moat. The blueprint stays in-house.

We'll show you that the rigor exists and exactly what you experience of it — the disciplines, the dissent seats, the claim-sort, the receipts. We don't publish the internal mechanics that produce them.

That's deliberate, not evasion. The depth is what makes the judgment hard to copy; a public blueprint would hand it to the people you're trying to beat — and impress the buyer who'd love a spec sheet for the wrong reasons. Being candid about what we hide is part of the method.

Method is easy to claim. Watch it work.
